The ALP Association
The Adult Learning Project is organised by the ALP Association. The Association is an independent voluntary organisation made up of adult learners who have attended ALP classes and friends of ALP in partnership with the Council's Community Learning and Development staff.
All ALP participants are invited to become a member of the association and contribute to the work of the project by coming to monthly meetings. The meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6.45pm – 24 September, 22 October, 26 November, etc. The main aim is to create community and enhance learning through promoting collaboration, social events, learning events and cultural exchanges.
